5 minutes: Introduction
10 minutes: What does the research say about scheduling?
30 minutes: Tips and best practice on creating the perfect schedule
15 minutes: Create your own schedule
This was really informative unfortunately with my schedule not all of the tips would work. I currently service grades 6-12 in addition to the two subseparate classrooms. The 6-12 graders have a rotating schedule with one block dropping each day. As well as some other challenges. I did begin to think of these obstacles for the upcoming year in a different light after participating in this. Thank you!!
I work in the UK and it is very interesting to see how SLP works in schools in the USA. I found the discussion regarding high intensity vs low intensity very interesting. Also I am going to try the 5 minute articulation programme with the children in my school
Thank you for all of your information! This helped me think about new ways to schedule my students.
Great presentation with very useful information. Very organized and simple.
Thank you! I will be using these tips to set up my schedule this year!
Great tips to think about as I'm setting up my caseload this year. So excited to try out the spreadsheet.
Nicole was a wonderful presenter and the free resource schedule template was fantastic! Thank you@
Great ideas, but may be limited in applicability. Thank you for all your hard work.
Nicole never disappoints
The information was structured well and clear. I was given more insight into how to better organize myself for the coming year. Thanks!
Nicole gave some great scheduling ideas. I was interested in the 5 minute arctic. pull out she does. This is not an approach I'd heard of but I could see it being really effective.
Good information for a new SLP starting to navigate scheduling.
This was a nice, informative presentation. I had a few other questions that I had hoped would get answered but there were so many Q's coming at her so quickly that it wouldn't have mattered what I submitted,
Nicole did a fantastic job sharing her tips and tricks with us. I also love how she dedicated so much time to answering questions! I can be such a people pleaser, which makes things hard when you're trying to make a schedule! I'll try to remember to walk in with authority and "blame it on the law!" ;) Thank you for your presentation!
Thorough and thoughtful. New grad's will find the tips about what to say/not say when approaching teachers worthy of consideration. Thank you for sharing your scheduling template. There are some nice features I'll be adding to my own.
Her expertise and examples were very helpful!
enjoyed the tips in order to prioritize. will be implementing
As a new school-based SLP moving to the elementary level from the preschool level, this was very informative and I look forward to using the tips you provided! Thank you!!
Great tips for new SLPs!!
This was a timely and helpful course! Thanks, Nicole!
Great tips. Especially for building rapport with the teachers.
This was a simplistic view to scheduling....very useful for a beginning therapist.
Fantastic! Excellent visuals!
thank you for sharing your template....looking forward to receiving it :)
It was interesting to see the schedule of an SLP who used different service delivery model than we do in my district.
Really helpful! This course provided me with some new ideas to help me get out of my scheduling rut!
The presentation was well organized and the information was teacher friendly. Job well done!
Very practical !!!
Excellent presentation! Nicole gave me a lot of new ways to think about scheduling and I look forward to implementing them in just a few weeks! Thanks, Nicole!
There was great information provided in this course! thank you!
There are many tips and ideas for scheduling that I will try to incorporate where possible into my schedule! Thanks for sharing your templates and experience with scheduling! Thank you!
Super helpful and engaging!
I've been creating schedules for 15+ years. These are great tips! Flexibility is definitely the key to making it work.
I think this was a great presentation. I like the idea of the 5 minute articulation sessions. I always find that I never get as many productions as I would like during a full 30 minute session, and this shorter drill style session seems like it would work. I also like the idea of face to face meetings with teachers. I will be working at multiple campuses and I still think that these tips will help a lot :)
This course had some good tips. While not all would apply to my situation, many will be helpful! Thanks for providing the course!
Wish I would have had this info a few years ago as a first year SLP! I will be tweaking some of the info since I work with pre-k but love some of the ideas she brought to the table
Thank you for so many tips. I am interested in using the spread sheets to manage my caseload.
Great for a beginning therapist. Good ideas for learning to self-advocate. However, I would have liked more tips and tricks about planning a beginning year schedule that will adapt as more students are identified and move in.
The information was solid; however, I unfortunately have additional constraints on when I can see my students.
Great tips. I will refrain from emailing teachers to create my schedule this year. ;)
Great idea to prioritize certain areas and use post its originally
Good tips. I have been using the post-it note tip for a number of years and it really is helpful! I'm going to try to schedule my 5 minute kids at the end of the day this year. I love that idea...30 minute groups at the end of the day just aren't as productive as they should be.
Excellent course. Thank you so much!!!
Great info. Love the 5 min drill on 3 or more days and love your schedules you created. Thank you!
University of Akron. Go Zipps!
Nicole was fantastic. I receive her emails and always find them informative and helpful.. I work in the school system and found her mastermind schedule absolutely amazing!!! I can't wait to implement this system and hopefully it will make scheduling easier!!! Great course!!!
I appreciate that your suggestions stemmed from the external evidence, as well as that you provide tips in the form of a "system." Helpful. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!!
Great ideas for making effective schedules!
This course gave me some great ideas to try to tame the scheduling monster this year. THANK YOU!
As an experienced SLP, I found this presentation dull.
this was a great course!
Love the reminder to walk in with authority!!! I have always been flexible, but also feel that i want to play nice to often. I need to be better about that! Thank you Nicole!
Great way to re-think about things!
