This was really informative unfortunately with my schedule not all of the tips would work. I currently service grades 6-12 in addition to the two subseparate classrooms. The 6-12 graders have a rotating schedule with one block dropping each day. As well as some other challenges. I did begin to think of these obstacles for the upcoming year in a different light after participating in this. Thank you!!

I work in the UK and it is very interesting to see how SLP works in schools in the USA. I found the discussion regarding high intensity vs low intensity very interesting. Also I am going to try the 5 minute articulation programme with the children in my school

Nicole gave some great scheduling ideas. I was interested in the 5 minute arctic. pull out she does. This is not an approach I'd heard of but I could see it being really effective.

This was a nice, informative presentation. I had a few other questions that I had hoped would get answered but there were so many Q's coming at her so quickly that it wouldn't have mattered what I submitted,

Nicole did a fantastic job sharing her tips and tricks with us. I also love how she dedicated so much time to answering questions! I can be such a people pleaser, which makes things hard when you're trying to make a schedule! I'll try to remember to walk in with authority and "blame it on the law!" ;) Thank you for your presentation!

I think this was a great presentation. I like the idea of the 5 minute articulation sessions. I always find that I never get as many productions as I would like during a full 30 minute session, and this shorter drill style session seems like it would work. I also like the idea of face to face meetings with teachers. I will be working at multiple campuses and I still think that these tips will help a lot :)

Good tips. I have been using the post-it note tip for a number of years and it really is helpful! I'm going to try to schedule my 5 minute kids at the end of the day this year. I love that idea...30 minute groups at the end of the day just aren't as productive as they should be.
