Very good information and helpful examples were provided. I liked that speaker highlighted benefits of the phonetically-based approach and provided screening tools for us to utilize in our daily practice.
Great information! I have the Advance Screener, but always felt overwhelmed using it. This course definitely helped. Thank you!
Thank you for the great screening and target ideas!
Great way of approaching treatment of /r/! Lots of examples and practice!
Great information! I have been using her materials off and on but I'm excited to start this school year off with a better understanding of it. Thanks!
Thank you--very clear presentation!
Great information and good ideas for practicing /r/!
So informative and great slides with plenty of information I will be utilizing! Thank you, Christine!
Very informative! This information will be very useful for a few of my students who are "stuck" on their R sounds.
Thank you so much for your time and great information.
Amazing speaker and very knowledgable with the R sound. I have a lot of difficulties teaching this sound to students and now I have more confidence because of her. Thank you.
This course helped give an organized approach to assessment and treatment of /r/ sounds! It was a great starting point.
Thank you for this presentation! It's always nice to be guided to other methods for tackling this tricky sound.
Very useful information!
Great perspective on the remediation of /r/. I am excited to use these tips when I get back to work! Thank you!
Loved this course! Useful and practical information for daily therapy!
This was a great practical course in teaching /r/!
Very informative. Held attention well and program looks great. TY!
Very good information-clear directions on evaluation and therapy approach
This was very informational and good for an SLP who is just beginning and needs to know where to start with /r/ therapy. I wanted a little more in-depth information about elicitation techniques. The screening portions could have been explained in a much shorter amount of time. I was able to take away a new process of screening for /r/ though!
I began using this approach years ago when I realized that my students had such specific needs for the /r/. I didn't even know your book was available and it would have saved me so much time in creating my own activities! Thank you - anxious to look up your website for your other materials.
Lots of extremely helpful information and techniques. I am excited to go back and try what I learned with my /r/ groups when school resumes in a few weeks! Thank you!
Excellent overview of a phonetically based approach to /r/ remediation. It is systematic and thorough.
I found this to be enjoyable and it provided useful information!
Great presentation. The screeners you provided us with will be very useful. Thanks for all the examples on how to approach /r/ treatment and fully explaining the phonetically-based approach.
Clear and concise. Reinforces my therapy and allows me to order materials to support it without making them as I do therapy!!! Thanks!
Great review of information.
I have some experience with the Say it Right R program and tools, and this course provided additional clarification and helpful tips.
Very good information with helpful examples.
Great and informative class
Good information and helpful examples.
Helpful information. I have the program so it was helpful to hear about it. Wish the video and audio worked for the therapy session.
Very good information. Really helpful when it comes to starting therapy addressing /r/.
I have used her approach for years, and am excited to order her activity book! Great information!
Really enjoyed the presentation. Very informative. I wish that the video example had worked with audio. I have The World of R book and will now go back and purchase other products. Thanks.
Thank you so much for all the valuable information!
Great course! Interested in purchasing Entire World of R products.
This was an excellent course!
Great information and helpful examples were provided. I would have loved to see more questions answered as well as what a typical therapy session would look like using her tools.
Great information. Examples were provided. The speaker was very informative about why this method is successful.
I really enjoyed the speaker's explanation of why the phonetic approach was more beneficial to the traditional approach. I look forward to learning more about this approach.
Great course with awesome tips and where to find everything for /r/ resources.
Very informative! I am excited to start a new year with some fresh ideas on targeting /r/!!!
Great information and clarification about correct way to use World of "R" materials. Clear explanations.
Loaded with solid, sound, tested information that is sensible, measured, justified and it works. The information crosses all elements of evaluation justification, goal writing, data collection, updates, progress reports and homework. I'm sold.
Appreciated the examples.
I thought this course was very well designed and presented. It provided a tangible and specific way to remediate /r/, which can be very tricky. Thank you!
Good information for the amount of time allotted and for "free". Good intro to the phonetic approach and how to use her materials/program. I will definitely be looking into the lengthier courses she offers through her website and those available elsewhere, such as a 6 hour course through SpeechPathology.com that other attendees mentioned.
I truly enjoyed this presentation. As a newbie to working on /r/, it was great to get specific ideas for where to begin and how to approach it using a model that works better than traditional therapy models!
I enjoyed the course. I could not hear the video, but I did see that it is posted on your website, so I'll be sure to check it out there. I feel as though the quiz might have some errors, such as asking about the "Four" categories of /r/, when the slides and presentation discussed three.
Information I can take back and use immediately.
Great speaker and information!
I have been using a few of her materials for several years, but after this presentation, I feel like i can more effectively put them to use. Good presentation!
Thank you for presenting information about the dreaded /r/!! This is my first year as an SLP and I do have a few students that need to work on that particular sound. I feel after listening to your presentation, I will be okay. Thanks again, Jamie Connell
course quality-good good basic information with concrete strategies
Very informative course regarding the difficult /r/ phoneme. She provided great information about screening, beginning therapy and how to target /r/ in therapy sessions. I'm excited to use her screening tools and this program!! Thank you for a great presentation.
Great course with very helpful information. I always feel I have attended a great course when I have learned strategies that I can apply in my therapy sessions immediately!
Christine is extremely knowledgeable and provides a lot of helpful examples and guidance. I am planning to utilize her materials!
Good presentation but questions were confusing and poorly worded.
Good overview of the program. It was frustrating that the quiz did not align with the content of the presentation.
Nice review of information.
Enjoyed the presentation and LOVE using the Entire World of R materials with my middle schoolers! While I understand the information presented in the course very well, I had a hard time with this course's quiz/learning assessment, as it was not at all aligned with the presentation and many of the questions and answer choices were very vague. For example, the presenter and handouts clearly stated 3 types of R, but the quiz asked what are the 4 types of R?.
Good for a one hour course. I prefer her 6-hour course on the same topic. This seemed a little unorganized and didn't elaborate much on the slides, just read them. Great info.
The information for this course was great! As we prepare for the beginning of the school year, this is a great refresher and motivator to try new things with my students. Thank you for all of the information. The quiz was ridiculous, however. I had to take it 5 times to pass.
Great information, definitely going to the website and doing some shopping
This was fantastic. I cannot wait to pull out the Entire Word of R books again now that I am returning to school age kids - R has always been a struggle for me and this was so helpful. I will definitely look into the other CEU courses you offer. Thank you.
Great presentation. I have the advanced screener and use it often in therapy. This presentation reinforced that I am using the screener correctly and gave me some additional insights for using this product with my /r/ caseload.
Lots of great info... can't seem to pass the quiz
Great information on how to approach the dreaded /r/! Practical tips that I can't wait to begin using!! Thanks
The presentation provided a lot of information; would have preferred that the handouts provide more information rather than feeling like I just need to buy the materials to learn more of the theories and practice that support this program.
Great introduction for how to use this program.
great information! can't wait to do some research on your other courses!
Thank you for presenting. The information on natural tongue position was very helpful.
This presentation greatly increased my confidence when giving /r/ therapy. Thanks so much!
I like that reasoning and examples were given regarding why the phonemic approach is more successful than the traditional approach to remediation of the /r/.
Great presentation. I've used this tool for some time, but it was good to be reminded of some basics.
Gave good ideas and better explained the research (though briefly) behind the phonemic approach
Christine was a great presenter and her information presented was extremely informative and research based, however the quiz at the end does not correlate with the presentation. I understand that there are technical bugs that need to be worked out, but the content of the quiz is also an point of contention.
The screening tools provided were a fabulous addition!
Good introduction for someone completely unaware of the phonemic approach to /r/ and a good refresher for those familiar with her materials. I wouldn't recommend it for the seasoned EWR consumer. Also, there was one item on the quiz that did not correspond to what was presented.
Course was great! Practical, clear information.. Thank you!
Very practical! Loved this step-by-step and research-based approach to /r/!
Great information - I've been using the Phonemic Approach for years, but this PD really added to the program!
Great info and handouts!
Very helpful information. For once I am excited to work on those /r/'s with my students.
Good, but very frustrating that the quiz questions did not match with the presentation.
I have used portions of the Entire World of R program for a couple years and it has been incredibly helpful for me as a CF and new SLP. This course provided additional examples and info on the phonemic approach to /r/ that I will definitely be using this next year with students!
great information! I will be looking for my students natural tongue position this school year! Thank you!
Great information and very clearly presented.
The presentation was very easy to follow and full of great information! Thank you so much!
I love The Entire World of R materials! Great to have a review how to use it.
Overall good information! I was hoping for some more tips and tricks for R elicitation techniques. Good resources and helpful ideas/information.
Great overview. Helpful information.
Informative details of the /r/. New to me was that each individual has his/her own natural tongue position for making the /r/. I will definitely utilize what I learned today.
Loved this reminder of how important it is to be thorough when checking all of the R contexts!
Excellent therapeutic information and ready to apply in therapy! Thank you !
This was great! It made me feel more vindicated in my approach to /r/ and gave me some new things to add in!
I actually feel confident about working with /r/ now! Thank you!
This course was very informative and I look forward to using these techniques in therapy.
Lots of great information!
Excellent presentation! Will be very helpful,
Good information and clarified some steps I had not been utilizing as far as elicitation techniques and working successful /r/ word lists.
Loaded with practical information!
Excellent information, very systematic, and made sense!
Wonderful and helpful information
This was a great review of all of the benefits of the phonetically-based approach for /r/. I have been using The Entire World of R for years. It is a great resource!
I kind of do the same thing on my own with the /r/ kids and have good success with it.
Great course! lots of valuable information
This course helped me better understand the phonetic approach and how to use the screeners to determine where to start! Very practical!
Great information provided - thankful to have a good starting point and plan of action to implement with students!
Loved all of the examples provided
Great info! Thanks so much!
So helpful! Definitely helped me understand the ever-so-confusing and overwhelming /r/production more and how to begin treating it!
