Speech Language Pathologists play a crucial role in assessment and intervention of young children with social cognitive challenges. This is often a murky area, especially when a child is relatively young and has average to above-average language and cognition, yet demonstrates challenges with social pragmatics. This session will examine a case study of a 5-year-old and provide practical ideas for both assessment and intervention for children with this learning profile.
